MKV Over 54G

I'll say no you need n or ethernet to be sure. I've got a popcorn hour and an apple tv sitting here and it really depends on a lot of other factors. What player do you have - htpc?

Streaming a 720p file over 54g works fine from 1m, but can't seem to do it 10m and a few walls away.

So I would say no, if i'm struggling with 720p, I think 1080p would be a nightmare.

Best bet would be to use FE or GE, but you might need to be throwing cables over your house! (Been there, done that!)

I had the same results. In theory it should work but in practice it was very choppy and unreliable. i went for powerline networking in the end, works perfectly :)
