mkv playback with Shark007 codecs. Double speed!!!

Hi all,

If I use Shark007 to force the default player to be WMPx64, it plays all my MKVs at double speed, if not faster.

Revert it back to the standard WMPx86 and they play fine.

Any ideas?

Windows 7 x64 HP

From my understanding, most x64 codecs are not very mature compared ot their x86 counterparts. It's great to have the option of 32 or 64 bit WMP and WMC in Windows 7 so that you can use the proven working ones.

I'm sure there are other codecs you can try though. MKV is a container, what actual format is the video?

Are you using Shark's x64 components addon, as you will need this in 64bit Media Player
