I'm looking for a new CPU cooler and 2x 80mm quiet fans to fit inside the ML03B case which is a HTPC, current specs are,

CPU: AMD Phenom II X2 545 3.0GHz
Motherboard: Foxconn A7VMX-K
GPU: Asus ATi Radeon 6450 Fanless

The current CPU cooler (Cooler Master CM12V) is quite loud as I can hear it while watching movies so I'm looking for a new CPU cooler which is quiet and can shift a lot of air around the case. The 2 RAM sticks are low profile so this is an advantage,

The case only has two fans (CPU and PSU) as the GPU is passive cooling so I'm looking for 2x 80mm quiet fans to fit on the side of the case to create more airflow,

The ML03B case is on the bottom shelf but has a bit of room between the top shelf,

Hello

I am using the following CPU cooler on my HTPC.
Competitor link removed

It does a really swell job at cooling a CPU like my i3, your AMD one won't be a hot runner either seeing his TDP. The thing with Scythe products is they're always pretty damn cheap and their stock fans are great in terms of noise. I'd say check out the review, I couldn't be happier with mine for HTPC pc usage.
It is small, VERY quiet and cools more than plenty for the usage.

Is there any alternative fan similar to Noctua NF-R8 which is in Black?

I'll have a look at the Scythe Shuriken and the Big version

The BeQuiet fan seems to be as good as the Noctua NF-R8 by the specs, my motherboard has 4 pin system fan connector, will the splitter allow me to connect 2 fans into the connector?

YOUR BASKET
2 x Be Quiet! Silent Wings 2 PWM - 80mm £14.99 (£29.98)
1 x Akasa PWM fan splitter (AK-CBFA04-15) £2.99
Total : £33.80 (includes shipping : FREE).

This image was taken from OcUK forum of someone with the same case and 4 fans installed, should I have the fans as intake or exhaust? Also should I space the fans out or have them next to each other?

I previously used the shuriken in my ml03. Two 80mm fans 1 push and 1 pull just to move air round.
Two fans are in positions 2 and 4 if 1 is left and 4 the right most.
Since replaced it with a all in one chip/board which is fanless except in summer when the 2 x 80mm fans are connected
