Sounds a bargainNa, just pics of mods wives for £10 or more now.
well I’ve been a member for over 12 years and I’ve brought on the MM a few times, I send my funds over and wait for the item to arrive so I’m not sure how that makes me a risky buyer/seller.Posts like this kinda flag you as a bit of a risky buyer or seller. I think. Imo.
It should just happen Natural style
Like you, I used it a few times before the rule changes. I just wondered if the rule changes have had a negative effect on it. A few are wrongly assuming I’ve suddenly joined just to gain access to it.Before the rule change yes it was, I got a graphics card and a few other bits for the latest build and lots of stuff for the previous as well. Still one of the best places to purchase second hand components on the site. Always well looked after, always good prices and genuine sellers, much less scum bags compared to all the other platforms!
What nonsense, someone wants to get a few quid for something they no longer want and they get to sell it for free with no listing or commission fees and zero hassle. Without buyers there would be no MMYou contribute little to the community but benefit from buying good cush. It isn't hard maths
I thought I’d bought 2-3 items, used the classified at AV forums about 60 times, why does my initial question have to be taken so far out of contextYou have one item of feedback dating to 2018 bud.
While one or two transactions I've had haven't had feedback, I'd say 95% have. How often did you really use the service?
Who said I’m bumping up my post count, I said getting the amount of posts is time consuming. Time consuming as I’m not in here posting nonsense 20 times a day to do just that.I wouldn't publicly admit to bumping up your post account just to gain access. IIRC that results in you not being granted it/it being taken away.
I don’t disagree and I’ve heavily used AV Forums in the past for HiFi and AV equipment. I do find classified adverts on dedicated member forums have usually been well looked after.See, that's the exact attitude I mentioned in my earlier post. Why should the benefit of trading on the MM sit entirely with the buyer through lower price? The perceived benefit of using the MM to avoid scammers isn't exclusive to the seller, the buyer is also purchasing from someone that's part of the community and therefore benefiting from lower risk.
Pay a fair price, and everyone wins. You don't overpay, the seller gets a fair price and you're getting lower risk versus eBay.
I've lost count of the times I've seen posters offering derogatory offers, someone comes in with either asking or close to asking price and the person who made the derogatory offer then asks to be second in line. If you wanted the item and are willing to pay the higher price, just offer it in the first instance.
Most of my for sale posts on the MM state that I'm not open to offers because I know what I can get for the items via eBay (filter by completed sales of said item). I'll usually price a tad lower on here so there's still value to be had. If I get no bites, I'll put it on eBay and sell for higher.
