This is what I'm thinking, Sat Navs etc are easier to nick than car audio (if that's the reason behind it)

Think its something to do with its easy to shift stolen car audio on the net.

I guess incase naughty people start using it as an easy and more untracable route for selling on stolen stuff.

Same for mobile phones as they are easily stolen too.

But sat navs are much easier to steal than car audio, simply smash window, grab it and run, with a stereo you'd have to mess around with removal keys etc
