MM2 screen res

hi, i have jus got Midtown Madness 2, yes i know its old and all that but meh

basically when i load up the game its in an awful resolution

i run at 1600x1200 normally and when i am racing and driving, it plays at this res, however when choosing races and cars etc it is in a terible resolution!

please someone help me thanks in advance

It's only been 30 minutes!

From the few old games I have, they all seem to be hard-coded in the menus, with no options/tweaks to change it. MM2 may be different of course.
