As someone who doesn't take photos, I saw this video of a prominent sports websites photographer explaining her photos and the background of them and why she likes them, thought you would all appreciate them here as well. She appears to me very talented and an amazing position to be in to get shots and insight.

Is she a talented photographer or is she just lucky to be in a position to get decent shots?

It can take a lot of talent to be in the right place at the right time :p anyone can press a shutter release.

Enjoyed watching that and her talking through them and what she thought of each one. I think it's a combination of being talented and being able to get up close with the fighters. As a fan I think there are a lot of great shots there of defining moments such as the Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard one and I sat for a few moments thinking back to that fight.

Maybe on there own they don't stand out to someone who maybe isn't a fan and looking through other galleries there are quite a few of her shots that aren't anything special. I found them interesting however and I'm glad you shared them. I'd love the opportunity to do her job for a bit though just to meet a few of those guys.
