Hello there

I have put my old sn21g5 to rest as a media centre, works great, however my fan got noisy so I replaced with a 92mm antec tri-cool which seems noisier! Could someone please recommend a nice quiet fan.

92mm is difficult, any chance you can shoehorn in a larger one?

If you can find them have a look for a Coolink 921 or 920. I use the original 1201's which are blue rather than green, but you can't hear them at all. (The SWiF are blue and gen1, the SWiF2 are green and gen2)

Otherwise OcUK seems to sell a Fractal one which is almost as quiet.

The Scythe Kaze-Jyu slim is a 100mm fan but has 92mm mounting holes ... might fit ?

I had the same Tricool. It's noisy as hell mate, I feel for you

I kinda liked the smooth whooshing sound though.
