mmmmm new monopod...

Damn these weekend late shifts at work! They are a curse for online shopping...

My monopod was in major need of updating as it's a reeeally old plastic thing that bends all over the shop. So, I just ordered a nice new Gitzo 3551, which I hadn't planned on getting until I noticed the one I was looking at only extended to 5'3" where the 3551 goes up to 6'2", being that I'm 6 foot I thought this would be a much smarter option!

It's a sturdy beast too, holds up to 18kg!! :eek:

Should be here just in time for my trip to Florida in just over a weeks time :cool:

How much was it do you mind me asking? i really should get a monopod at some point, and i do love the gitzo CF stuff

I haven't used it in yeeeeears lol. I forgot I even had myself listed as using it on my profile! I only really use gmail messenger thingy - I have forgotten my password/login for AIM and MSN as I never use them..oops

I paid £174 delivered which appeared to be the cheapest I could find.
