Well, most UK curries are 'authentic' as they're UK inventions.They might use that argument. I've had the real deal while working in India for over three months though. None of the curries were as hot as a vindaloo but they were tastier. Oh and authentic![]()
Well, most UK curries are 'authentic' as they're UK inventions.
If you go to proper curry houses like Tayyabs and to a lesser extent the Lahore kebab house (both in London) you won't see a vindaloo in sight. You will however enjoy a taste sensation which will make you realise what curry is supposed to taste like.
Where is the fun?
My local curryhouse does me a spiced up Dhansak which is good tasting and arse blowingly hot. Winner!![]()
