Been waiting a long time for this:

Right here we go . 99.9% finished still awaiting sun visors and ...err speedo cable and a little touch up to the paint in a few small places that i'm not happy with. Took little trip up the m1 the weekend to Billing done a round trip of about 300 miles and apart from a rattly clutch fork and a small appetite for multigrade she was pretty damn spot on.Its suprising a difference a bit of sound deadening and carpet makes as the trip around canvey was filled with rattles and droning but the trip the weekend was pretty comfortable and better than going ou in the golf.
Heres a few pics from last week before the carpet was fitted last friday (it was finished 8pm ,we left for Billing the next morning).

Recognise the engine, Fox? ;)

Now that is something I can appreciate!

The rideheight is acceptable, the wheels suit the car and look the right size, the engine bay looks good, the paintwork (although not my taste in colour choice) and condition looks excellent, the interior is well done.

And even though its not something I'd build, with that engine set up, I'd go so far as to say, thats really rather cool

Tis a funky machine, for sure - not quite keen on the ride height or the rear but really well done work.

I agree with Fox, interior has been done well but I couldn't live without headrests! Never! :o

any reason they went for that configuration?
seems like a lot of work, and probably expense, for only 200 brake.

I couldn't tell you personally but its not that much work or expense...you're probably looking at less than fifteen hundred installed.

Zetecs are cheap, cheap to tune and a DIY blower arrangement like that is not that expensive.

It will have shedloads of torque too :)
