MMO Account question

Me and my brother are really looking forward to Star Wars The Old Republic (ages away i know but i was thinking. Is it possible for me to have an account and also make an account for my bro on my computer and i pay for his sub, even though we dont live together. So what details would my brother have to give me, would it just be his account name, password and email address? I know the game aint out yet so these questions are just to really general MMO accounts.
 
If you mean can you create 2 accounts then yes , you can create as many accounts as you want, doesn't even usually need to be different names.

Really, so i can have two aacounts on on my pc one for me to play on my pc and the other one for my bro so he can play at his house.
 
Yup because the accounts are not on your pc, they are just logins if you like , to a remote server, and just like the logins to any network you can have multiple logins created by the same person. All you, and your brother have is the client to connect to the remote server.

Dont know what the deal with star wars, but in WoW (and most others afaik) one game = one account = one subscription. If you want 2 accounts then youll have to buy 2 copies of the game and pay 2 subscriptions.

You could share one account, but you wouldnt be able to log on at the same time, so wouldnt be able to play together.

No chubbs right, i want to have 2 accounts with 2 subs so we can both play together:)

I pay my subs on a debit card will there be any problems paying for 2 subs on the same card?
 
Wait, I am confused now, do you mean can you create multiple accounts by only buying 1 copy of the game then? Or do you mean can you buy multiple copies of the game and pay for each?

buy 2 copies
setup 2 accounts on my pc
pay 2 subs on my pc and on the same debit card
So theres me playing the game at home, and my brother playing his copy at his house using one of the accounts i setup.
 
Yup, that's no problem, you can do that with an unlimited number of accounts if you really wanted to. There shouldn't be any issues with using the same card , its the way that people multibox for example :)
