Need something to get lost into for 3-4 weeks, was thinking about resubbing to rift but forgot how boring it was, may try wow again, AoC was poo. LOTRO is good but ive played it to death, same with GW.

Anything ive missed? EvE's too complicated, just want something i can pick up and play and loose myself into :)

When'd you last play Rift and are you mainly into PvE or PvP? Not sure I'll actually reply again (don't check here very often) but your interests will help people give you better suggestions

For Rift it's self, if you're into raiding River of Souls was the last raid instance to be introduced (a 20 man dungeon) along with Gilded Prophecy (10 man) while of course Greenscale's Blight (20 man) is also in the game, very soon Hammerknell (new, extremely large 20 man dungeon) will be released

For PvP in Rift, the next patch (1.4) brings prestige rank 7 and 8, extra gear sets, synergy crystals (essentially set bonuses) for both pvp & pve sets for individual souls, open PvP rifts (they have been very succesful on the PTS and sound a lot of fun) as well as increasing the rewards of killing people in the world as opposed to warfronts - Also, last patch they introduced world pvp daily quests and they've brought a lot of life to world pvp, server dependant I suppose - If you do start again, I'd recommend transfering to Bloodiron, great server on all accounts, just expect a ~25minute queue around 7pm on weekends.

never been much into pvp, i liked it in rift, but was too unbalanced. Like good pve (lotro) but with fun social aspects too.

shot in the dark, but is star trek online any good? maybe like eve but easiest to get into?

Hmm, other than being in space I believe Star Trek Online and Eve are about as unlike each other as two games can be :)

As you're not much into PvP, EQ2 maybe? Didnt see that on your list.

Story Arcs (the little i've seen) are cool, all your favourite DC Heroes; I'm 10 hours in and enjoying it, even though it's been solo throughout - i think the game opens up at Level 30 (current level cap) - when you start doing bigger arcs/raids etc... for new equipment.

Superman armour looks awesome!

STO is nothing like EVE, and that's being nice to EVE considering i didn't like EVE. STO should have been space only, but nevermind.
