MMORPG/Shooter search

Hey guys.

I am looking for a new MMORPG, to play preferably a free one. I don't want to play World of Warcraft as it is too expensive. I played Guild Wars 2 and it is really good but I want something else. Do you have any recommendations. Black desert will be out in 2016 and it is supposed to be good but it is still a few months away.

I am also looking for a new shooter. I am thinking of division but it will be out in 2016. I love CS GO. Hardline was good for sometime then got boring. Do you think BO3 would be a good game to get or should I just wait for Division?

Have you checked out Secret World or Skyforge?

Maybe World of Tanks or World of Warships for a free mmo "shooter"?

There's also Dirty Bomb and Heroes & Generals which are free to play on Steam.

I played planet side 2 but I didnt like it that much. Is there anything like Guild Wars 2. Also what do you think of BO3 will it be a good game.

Devilian is quite good really enjoying the beta if you like ARPG but with MMO style gameplay.

Overwatch if you can get a beta key.

I played WildStar for a bit after its recent transition to F2P, but it didn't really hold my interest. You've got nothing to lose by giving it a go.

All the above are pretty good F2P MMo's with healthy populations. I think ESO and Wildstar might be buy to play then no sub, both around £10.

10mins of garrison work per day on WoW nets ~40k per month. Add another 20k from activities, which is achieveable, and play for free?

rift is probably the next highest quality after guild wars 2. Aion is comedy bad.

Wildstar is very good and is now at the level it should have been released. It's more action based than other mmos and quite charming in its appearance and humour. Plus it's free so worth a try.
