Ok Basically I just got massacre on eve online, and I am fed up. it happens far too often even in nice safe 1.0 systems with suicide gankers. What I want to know is, isnt there a nice same MMO out there where its all about trade or something, like simcity or anno on a huge scale? Without the inevitable group of people going around making it bad for other people by trashing everything you work hard for.

i think atm EvE is the only player-run mmo at the moment

I think you'll struggle as, unfortunately, heavy trade mmo's never sell as well as the more killing based ones.

I left wow a while back and went for eve hoping it would be a bit more relaxing and less gank and grind based. Boy was I wrong.

Darkfall is one and Mortal Online will have a good trade system also.

Well you can carebear in a remote city to gather you herbs/stone but if you want Ore you have to go out.

I honestly cant think of any other trading based games other than Darfall, Mortal Online and Eve.

What's trade / crafting actually like in SWG now? I know there's a dedicated trader class, might still be worth a look (as opposed to the rest of the game, which we won't get into

Now is the time to ditch MMOs mate if you're fed up with Eve, there aren't any others like it on the market just now. I know as I'd enjoy a trade based one - frankly I'm glad there isn't one good enough to tempt me
