I am trying to find out more details on the Mo-Ra3 and what it can handle?
My workstation build for colour correcting uses 7x founders 1080ti with EKWB blocks and the hepta terminal block. I am using internal cooling but want to take the rads out of the box, would 1 or 2 of these beastly rads (both with all 9 fans connected to each) be enough to keep them cool. Cheers!

Mine was able to cool 2 580's, ram block, motherboard block (R3e) and an i7 920 without fans.

But considering some 1080Ti's are cooled using a single thin 120 mm radiator a thick rad with more than 9 times the S.A should be able to handle it.

I say get 2 of them and then you have a buffer for acoustic dampening due to the fans not having to work as hard. You could even take some fans out and have it partly passive if you have 2 of them, based on what momo56 said. One thing of concern is the fluid. Won't it get hot running through all those cards before hitting your rads? I know it balances out in the end, but apparently it affects the coolant somehow when it has to run through a lot of heat before your rads. You'll need Mayhems XT-1 Nuke at the least, I'd imagine, since they say it's optimized for multi-gpu setups.

Thanks for the input guys.
Currently I run a loop with 2x ek 420 and 1x ek 240, the gpus sit between a 420 before the cpu, all on distilled only and seems to work very well, in full load the cards don't go over 52-56c, all idle around 26-28c. Nothing is overclocked.

I'm thinking of racking it all so if the mora3 is in an external box with really good ventilation and all fans pushing I figure that's pretty capable.

one Mo-ra3 should be enough (if the 1080Ti's are not OC'd).
I don't think you need any special fluid, I'd recommend making sure you have a strong pump and you use the gpu's in a parallel setup

Putting them in parallel will actually improve flow and temperature somewhat. Just make sure you have a good pump cranked all the way up. If you have anything else in the loop you might want to think about running 2 pumps in series.

If the above is true then it will handle it but it'll be around the limit.

A few suggestions:

1. I'd use 4x 180 fans instead as their quieter, less power consuming and supposedly better (I jumped straight to 4x180 so no evidence if it's better or not).
2. Use quick connects on the hoses to the MO RA so you can move it independently of other things.

Should have mentioned the one Mo Ra was more than enough for 2x 980Ti (OC'd), 4770k (OC'd) and the motherboard block.

Silly question but which one?

360 or 420 .

Reason I ask if I have had very good success with the 420 with 4 x 220 fans, not too noisy either.

Passively due to the small room they live in, they tend to over heat the room, the fans push the air out into the corridor.
