Hey all,

Currently looking at this http://threestore.three.co.uk/dealsummary.aspx?offercode=24LP15GD90&id=1183 my other half loans me her dongle when we go away but I need my own now and a laptop that will play World of Warcraft. The above link (if I am allowed to post it) I assume comes with 15GB data a month and not just 15GB as their other deals actually say 'monthly' =\

Would that laptop be decent enough to play World of Warcraft? Not bothered about max settings or could anyone provide me another deal from somewhere (has to be 3G as thats the only dongle I ever get a signal on where we usually go) for a maximum of £40 a month, prefer the laptop to be free but if not I will pay for that as part of the deal, providing it's decent.

Cheers.

I'm guessing that's a no for the raiding on it that I just checked over from google then. My other half a year ago got a DV7 AMD with a 4650 HD ATI card I think it was but unfortunately it kept overheating due to the AMD chip and I can no longer get that deal. I'll have to keep having a look around then, cheers =)

Oh I currently am able to run World of Warcraft on my HP Mini 210-1012sa on low settings with 36fps (Thats with 1GB of RAM and upgrade to windows 7 ultimate), so I am guessing with the above computer it would run higher on medium settings without much problem?

Also I can get 15GB/month dongle from Three, so even if I am paying for a laptop monthly and it's a few hundred over what it's worth then I don't mind that if someone can suggest a decent gaming laptop that's pay monthly either.

search for the the laptop in my sig! you can get it for around £40 a month from the purple shirt people(cant say there name)

It runs WOW very very good at medium to high settings

(Acer Aspire 5740G),make sure the graphics card is either a 5470 or a 5650

Ok, will do a google for it now, thanks!

Unfortunately it's not available on their now and recommends me some other one which isn't even half decent!

So the first one I said even with 4GB RAM and the i3 won't run WoW regardless of the GFX card on medium settings? low for raids? The one I posted first has a money return/cancel contract so I guess I can atleast test it to see if it's half decent.

Go to the Purple shirts store and type in ACER 5553G Black

Or just type it in google ACER 5553G Black,it will run wow dandy its a AMD processor but a very very good processor and the video card i have in my laptop and its very good.

It will play Wow no problem at all,i still think the laptop from 3 will be pointless for gaming and wow.

Onboard graphics is not designed for gaming at all

Make sure the ACER 5553G has the ATI 5470 inlcuded as the video card! as some places sell the same spec laptop but will have the Intel HD Onboard Graphics

Im not sure if it helps, but found that laptop, with the 5470, for £599 :) on a website i cannot mention, but if you search that on google "Acer 5553g Black" its the third link down, then select the £563.99 option and bobs your grandad.

If this didnt help, goodluck on finding a laptop, but try and steer away from mobile broadbands, as you tend to spend well over £100 or even close to £300 on the deal over that 24 month contract.

I'll search both of those cheers and the mobile broadband is because we're NVQ assessors and travel around a lot. 3G seems to be the best one as it has worked everywhere for me currently so I need a mobile broadband dongle anyway. I can get the 15GB a month package for 15 quid so was looking for a laptop with that maximum 40 quid a month but guess I'll have to do them seperately, thanks both =)
