Mobile GPU in a reg. pc??

No. Laptops dont have traditional PCIE slots. They are infused onto the motherboard or a seperate add on board.
 
Laptops use an MXM slot, they are pcie but the slot is different, so no you couldn't fit a mobile gpu to a desktop pcie slot

Why would you want to? Mobile gpu's are just more expensive desktop gpu's with next to no cooling... A slim gtx970 would stomp all over a 980m (and so on)
