The Intel IGP solutions have always been terrible. They recently had a driver revision that upgraded them from "god-awful" to just plan "bad" but they aren't going much further. Nvidia and ATI's IGPs have been far superior for a long time now.
This might change with Intel's recent focus on graphics hardware development...but it's much more likely that we'll see a discrete solution brought out, at least initially.
