Mobile number starting with 07008?

That doesn't look right to me.
Anyone know where it might be from? I've been asked to call someone on a number starting with this and leave a message, but I'm sure it'll end in me being charged £1000000 for it.

No idea were its from, have you tried to google the number, see if anybody has listed it, good or bad?

070 numbers are personal numbers that can be chosen by the recipient.

Your call provider should be able to tell you how much it will cost to dial it.

from an o2 mobile 070 numbers are 50p a minute so id take a guess and say less from a landline

its a call divert number, I used to sell them years and years ago from a company called callsure when I was at carphone

I get frequent single ring missed calls from numbers like this and I'm convinced its some money making scam.. just avoid it.. point is any 070 number is just a front for another number so if you NEED to call the number then someone NEEDS to give you a DDI for it.
