Mobile PayPal website asking for security key

Hi all

I've been trying to make a simple purchase on eBay on my phone. However, whenever I try to login to PayPal to make payment I get an error saying that I need to include the security key after my password. Having looked at the FAQs, this security key appears to be a key fob you have to pay $30 to acquire. However, I can't find any way to login without this key.

Can anyone direct me how to do this? I'm about ready to throw the whole lot out of the window in frustration.

for me i have it as a text, is there a button to send code via sms?

There isn't a send SMS option on the mobile site.

They STILL haven't fixed that? Jesus Christ! I did away with the app and use the full website now.

I have the same issue when I'm using Safari on my iPad. I usually resort to making the payment on my desktop machine.

Google Chrome in desktop mode might be one solution.
