Hi everyone

My contract with T-Mobile recently became due for renewal so I opted for an iPhone 4 with unlimited calls x-network, unlimited texts and unlimited internet all for £30/month (2 year contract, friends and family half price for life through my cousin).

In hindsight I think I should have waited as the iPhone 5 is just around the corner. My question is should I take out mobile insurance and something was to happen my phone later on (damage, loss or theft), would T-Mobile send me out another iPhone 4 or would they give me an iPhone 5? And if the 5, would they charge me extra for it?

I haven't taken insurance out yet but I also have it available via my bank (Lloyds TSB) and wondering what the case would be with them too?

Thanks.

Can you not cancel the contract then renew when the iphone5 is out?? or are you past your 7 days?? if you ordered it online or on the phone???.

But if you cant then nope they will replace like for like, they wont hand you an iphone5 just like that.

Refurb stock tends to last for 6-9 months after a handsets EOL point. For iPhones this is upto 1 year typically as apple keep a higher stockpile that is available to networks.
