mobile WiFi

Can't even figure out what it's supposed to be. Is it a dongle of sorts that you plug into the phone? What is it supposed to do? Why would it be any better than the phone's existing WiFi?

I doubt the phone will even accept the dongle as some sort of "magical antenna". I'm willing to bet they actually have nothing inside and are simply dummy plugs.
