So my MobileMe account is up for renewal mid-April and I have a little reminder saying that I need to make sure my card details are all in check etc... etc...

What I would like to know is, if I bought a code online how do I then use it to upgrade my account?

And secondly, is this method safe? I have very important documents on my iDisk which I don't wont to lose... (Ofc I will back up prior to the date)

What does every one else do?

Just found where I can input an activation key... If I was to put in a code now, will I get a year from now or when it is up for renewal in mid-April?

I would imagine you would get a year from mid-April.

Not sure if you got the code yet or not - but if I was you I would wait until the very last day till I upgraded purely because there are rumours around everywhere that there will be a MobileMe revamp during April which will include a discount in subscription fee...

What they are doing with current subscription owners - I am unsure :(

A discount would be good but I hope it doesn't become free... I feel things might slip a little if they do that...

I always buy my MobileMe codes from ebay. (I paid £35 for my last one).

Doesn't matter when you enter the code, it gets added on to your current remaining days. Example, if you had 20 days to go and put the code in, you'd then have 385 days to go before it expired.

If thats the case... if I found seller with stupidly cheap codes, could I add say 2/3 codes and get that many years added on?
