MobileMe sync problem

I'm currently setting up all my contacts all nice and shiny using the me.com website interface. Purely because I find it more comfortable to use than the 'contacts' program.

My problem is that when i tell the MobileMe program on my mac to sync (only with 'contacts' for now) my contacts program on my Mac stays empty?

Anyone got an ideas why?

EDIT: After a test it seems it will sync contacts UP to the 'cloud' but it wont pull the down from it... weird. I suspect there is a setting somewhere I need to check.

Open up Address Book, preferences, under General there's a Sync contacts with MobileMe.

With any luck that's the problem, because I can't think of anything else :confused:
 
I had this problem today. The service is a pile of poo atm tbh.

Ended up having to delete all contacts on the iphone, mobile me and the mac. Then I got the iphone and mobile me working together. The mac wouldnt have any of it.

I think it started working when I reset the sync data, and set it so that mobile me was replaced by the mac contact info.

I'm tempted to wipe all my sync data on all devices and start from scratch.

I had a weird problem last night where my mac was saying it couldn't sync due to conflicting data on the mac :confused: Surely the whole point of syncing to to reslove any conflicts.
