im looking to build an intel system and i have my eye on this CPU (CP-116-IN) http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Intel_Dual_Core.html im just struggling to find a decent compatible mobo. I would also like some suggestions on a good PCI express card.

What is your budget here? The Gigabyte DS3 or DS4 seem to be pretty good for overclocking on socket 775 but I don't know if that is just for Conroe.
Again your budget and requirements are important for the graphics card recommendations. General point though is for £150 it is hard to beat an X1800XT, for ~£200 the X1900XT is good value.
