Mobo and GPU ?

Hey Guys,

So as i said in a earlier post i'm going to build a new PC for my sister, The PC will be used mostly for web browsing and my nephew plays a bit ow ROME and WOW.

Any way here is what i have so far, but i need a Mobo that will fit all these parts CPU,RAM,Sata HD,Sata Op drive, fans and eveything any suggestions ?


Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-Bit - OEM

Cooler Master Elite 430 Windowed Case - Black (with 500w Elite Power PSU)

AMD Athlon II X2 Dual Core 260 3.20GHz (Socket AM3) - Retail

Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 32MB Cache WD10EALX - OEM

Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

Also what do you think of this card as i said its for very basic gamming and dvd playback ?

Gigabyte GeForce GT 430 OC "Dual Fan" 1024MB GDDR3 Low Profile PCI-Express Graphics Card

Any suggestions guys are welcome, Don't want intergrated graphics as i'm going to get a Graphics card like the on above.

Ok guys,

So the Llano has onboard graphics yes?, are they good enough or should i say better than intel intergrated graphics that i have seen in the past ?

Also what mobo would i get with the Llano ??

Yep, the GPU is integrated in the CPU package alongside four CPU cores. :) The chip itself is from the 6500 series, so it would have competed against GT 430/440/520, if it were put in a discrete card. You can also pair an APU chip with an HD 6570/6670 card for a rather decent hybrid crossfire boost, some time down the line, if you need extra kick.

As such, and considering the maturity of ATI's graphics drivers compared to Intel's solution in this arena, it makes more sense in a multimedia desktop. :)
