ok ill bite the bullet, just gta get an i7 or an i5 chip now, is an i7 overkill for gaming ?

how is overclocking on that board, and will i see a performance gain using the i5 you stated coming from a p5q deluxe running a q9550 at 3.6ghz and 4gb of corsair dominator ddr2 1066.
why low profile ram ?
