Hi basically putting a rough spec together for my build in march. Of course new products will have came out by then.

Heres what I've come up with.

Which motherboard should i get? Ill be doing some overclocking and i don't think ill be going SLI but it'd be nice to have the option.

And which PSU should i get? I hear the Corsair range is good. Would the smaller 450w model do or should i get the 520w model for extra leg room?

Also budget is about £80 for both Max. So £140 Max.

Also ive decided to pick 2 Hard drives. One for windows and installs and the other for Files, Music, pictures etc. Is it better if i just put one large drive in and put all my pictures music etc on a External HD or keep it the same?

Thanks in advanced

I'd recommend the 520W. build quality is good and the detachable cables are nice for relieving clutter inside the case, although the P182 helps a lot with that.

As for motherboards, pick any P31/P35-based boards, no SLI support but then IMO it's not worth it, but they overclock a lot better than the nVidia chipsets. ASUS, abit, Gigabyte are the most popular, depends on your needs though, even the very cheapest ones clock just as well for moderate-high clocks.

I wouldn't recommend the CPU though, would either fork out a bit more for a Q6600 C2Q or save some money and get a E2180, less L2 cache but can reach E6750 speeds on stock voltage/cooling with the right motherboard.

RAM is fine.

I would've just gotten a bigger, single HDD with more cache, like the Seagate 7200.11 500Gb or the WD AAKS range.
