MOBO and SSD

Hi,

right will this SSD work on my mobo, the reason that i am questioning it is becasue the SSD has 'sataII' in the title does this mean it needs a sata 2 port to work? info below; Thought would be great!

Aye, it will work.

However, if you are going to be spending this kind of money on an SSD, I suggest you go for this one instead. It uses a sandforce controller and is a fair bit faster.

Your motherboard has:

6 x SATA 3Gb/s connectors

These are SATA 2 - so you will be fine.
