I need to find a really great mobo which can support Quad core, 2 8800 GTX cards in sli and dual channel RAM

please bear with me i'm new to this!!
I was thinking the Asus striker extreme 680i sli

Any ideas? what do you think of this board? is there a better board which i should consider? I have endless budget btw :D

Mmm endless budget wouldnt mind throwing me a couple of £100 to help my upgrade? ;)

I think any of the 680i's should do you well and I think it all depends on how fast you want it. At the moment it seems to be hard to get hold of some of the 680 boards.

Also worth mentioning is that there seems to be a big problem with quite a few of the 680i boards suffering from data corruption and loss of data, I know Nvidia have fixed some of it with a driver upgrade but still it sounds a bit dodgy but it might be totally fixed now or you might be lucky and get a board that works flawlessly.

Out of the 680i the Striker Extreme is the grandady of boards so if you can afford it I dont think you will go wrong, I'm hoping of getting an asus board for my next upgrade as its normally one of the top mobo making companies.

I'm kind of interested aswell for what is the most stable for quads over long term and which board has the least problems. I was considering the p5w64 until i read a thread above this saying that the pcie clips would snap off and the usbs have a habbit of failing plus sound is a no go?

Since 680i ones don't really appeal to me atm, partially because i want to fit in an ati card, what are other ppl's experiences with reliable boards for quads?
