MOBO - CPU issue?

Just built a shuttle.

It does not look to be posting.

I think we have diagnosed it to a faulty CPU or MOBO.

Is it possible to post with out a CPU in it?

Any thoughts??

What Cpu is it? Regardless I doubt* it is the Cpu.

*It could be but in every case I have seen it is the mobo in a "mobo or cpu" fault situation.

It will never post without a CPU. Is there a speaker? If so, what are the beep codes?

No beeps at all
