Hey guys

I use a lot of cpu/ram intensive software for work (zbrush, maya, photoshop etc), and I'm looking to build a new computer to deal with these programs. Do any of you know of any good mobo/cpu/ram combinations to deal with this, for around £200-£300.

The mobo doesn't need any fancy bells or whistles really. I'm just after brute power.

I've looked at a couple of the overclocked bundles and this one seems really good

Any advice on the sort of thing I should be going for?

Cheers

Hex core cpu.

Thanks Stulid yeah i've heard that the sandy bridge seems to be the way to go with my budget. Would it still be the best bet as opposed to the overclocked system mentioned above. I can't overclock myself hence why I wanted a pre oc'd build

Well its newer, and even at the 2400cpu stock speed I am sure it wont be too much in it compared to an overclocked i3.

Plus the Sandybridge is a quad core cpu, so will benefit more.

Wouldn't the AMD one be the one to go for? do the programmes he uses use all six cores mean it would go a lot faster?
