I'm after upgrading my current S939 Opty 180 system, in order to allow my 8800GTs to stretch their legs a little.
Despite seeing some excellent specs on here for other people, everything I come up with seems to come out at around £500.
What do you think of the below? Am I being unnecessarily extravagant on any components and is there anything I could save some dough on? Ta.
MSI P7N Diamond nForce 780i SLi (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard with Free Creative X-FI Card £137.99 (£162.14)
Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "Energy Efficient SLACR 95W Edition" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - Retail £129.99 (£152.74)
Corsair 4GB DDR2 XMS2 Dominator PC2-8500C5 TwinX (2x2GB) Supplied with Airflow Fan (TWIN2X4096-8500C5DF) £94.99 (£111.61)
PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 Quad-SLi PCI-E 750W Power Supply £89.99 (£105.74)
