You are wasting your money coming from a 3770k. That memory is worse than the Samsung green you have already. At least wait another 2 weeks for Skylake to launch.

sorry for the late reply and for the multiple posts too. I posted from my ipad which is glitchy to say the least..

I should have pointed out it's not for my main system. Thanks for the cooler advice, I will look into the one you suggested.

Skylake is now around 2 weeks away and you should still be able to get everything while still keeping to your budget.
