Hi guys,
I'm running an i7 2700k, running stable at 4.5 GHz, 16Gb RAM, gaming on a 2560x1600 using an AMD 7950, roughly 4 years old. My wife's PC is my older system, an 8 year old Q6600 with an ancient 4890 (I think) running at 1920x1200, which has started to fail. I need to get a new graphics card for my main system and was leaning towards getting a new mobo and CPU as well and "upgrade" my wife's PC with my current mobo and CPU, rather than just replacing hers with a new bundle, or second hand from the MM. The main benefit is that I'll be able to use this to play with my son on BF4 etc when he kicks me off my PC(!) I'm not in a rush though, so I was wondering when the next "big thing", both CPU and GPU is coming along... although there's always another next big thing
Cheers,
Jed
