Mobo dead

Is my mobo is dead. When taking off the horrible polaris 120 heatsink the mobo pcb got scratched around the mounting holes, red cpu led, so no boot.

If you're sure the CPU is seated properly, BIOS settings are correct and the scratches look bad enough, then it seems likely that it is dead.

Yeah, i just took off a heatsink and now it does not work. And i can see the copper through the pcb. Bought the mobo again now anyway.
