Hi

Just built a pc for the first time, I've installed Windows XP service pack 1, but can't seem to install my motherboard support disc? When I start my pc it says "no devices found", can anyone help? Need to install all motherboard drivers etc but don't know how? Is there a certain point when I installed XP that I should have done this? Forgive my ignorance, I'm a pc novice!!!

Also, when I look under My Computer, my local disc is labeled 'E' instead of 'C', how do I change this?

Thanks :)

If that's the only hard drive how many partitions did you make?.....

Secondly, if your mobo ethernet doesnt work without drivers you'll need to use the disk that came with the mobo. If you're on the PC you can download the latest drivers from the ASUS website.

It is the only hard drive...only one partition.

Each time I insert mobo disc into cd rom drive it won't load! Tried going into "run" & putting in ASSETUP.EXE as recommended on mobo disc, but it comes up with an error! Help!!
