The processor is in my basket as we speak, I really want to get this nailed tonight! :D

My last build was an absolute disaster. I won`t go into details ... we never do when we`re wrong, eh? ;) So nuff said about the cheap route and all is hunky dory until you stick a 20" Widescreen n Vista to yer prize build

I`m looking at the Abit IX38 if only because of it`s ability to support the next gen 45nm architecture (but thinking perhaps when it eventually happens, suddenly a new type of mobo comes out anyway), but maybe I should be thinking the nforce route because of SLI?

Whatever the case, I would love some help. Money isn`t a problem, so long as it`s based on perhaps some form of future proofing ... and I don`t think my 2 GB of DDR400 is any use, so some tips on some fast RAM wouldn`t go amiss :D

I`ve got a really good case with loads of room ... wish I hadn`t thrown out the socket 775 bits for my Zalman Aeroflower when I stuck it on me socket 478 P4 :o

Never mind, I`m an arse ... :(

I`ve found the RAM:

OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC2-9200 1150MHz Reaper HPC Edition Dual Channel DDR2 (OCZ2RPR11502GK)

:D

right on cozm01 ... hey, I`ve just realised that here is DD3 ram these days! Is it worth it? Now I`m really back to square one :\
