Mobo or CPU limit?

Currently running CPU and mobo as in my sig.

Cant get past 325 FSB giving 2.6Ghz, and more and its just not stable.

I know my mobo isnt renowned as a great clocker so am considering a gigabyte DS3, but am i guaranteed to get better clocks or is it possible my E6400 isnt capable of any more?

dunno dude, it COULD be the processor
but I've got my DS3 and E6300 up to 3.15GHz before windows just won't boot (it says about missing files and stuff. like even 1MHz increase just will not be taken!) but 3.15 is fine! no extra volts, prime stable etc.

I'd get a DS3 if you can, or a DS4
