hey guys,

i just installed a new mobo for my mate.

-Asrock 939N68PV-GLAN GeForce 7050 Socket 939

all working fine apart from a few problems.

the exhaust case fan never switches off, its just always running until you unplug the computer.

also the jumper for his PWR LED is a 2 pin one but its got a false pin in the middle, making it 3 wide. the space for the PWR LED on the mobo only has space for a 2 wide jumper. does that make sense?

thanks for your time :)

Hi What PSU you do you have? An ATX compliant PSu would turn off all fans when shut down?

As for the PWR LED, I have come across some case leads where the PWR LED connector has had to be split in two to make the correct connection. i.e. splitting the it so it fits pins 1 and 3. It sounds drastic but it works. A good sharp knife does the trick.

thanks mate,

i just popped on to say all sorted.

popped out the jumper pins with a sharp knife and reconnected so they were side by side and rigged the fan directly up to the psu.

all sorted now.

:)
