Hi,
The case is an Antec 1200, and with the Intel i5 "push in" coolers their's no problem, I currently have 92mm CoolerMaster on it.
But with a cooler that needs a bracket attaching behind the motherboard, the bracket actually presses against the case wall way before the Motherboard screw sections are tight.
The case comes with loads of the "raisers" and at the moment, the case has one on each screw, giving the board about 5mms of clearance from the case.
But their's loads more of these raisers, and they can also screw into each other, so I could have a good 1cm (plenty) of clearance behing the motherboard, which would easily allow a bracket behind the motherboard for a better cooler.
But how does this affect the PCis?
Surely this would put the PCI's with about 5mm clearance above where they should screw in?
Has anybody else had this problem, is their a common workaround?
Many thanks all,
Shayne.
