Mobo Socket pin issue

Just bought an iv impact in mm. Having inspected the socket I notice a pin is out of shape. I'm waiting on an 1150 CPU to arrive. Any suggestions on what I should?

Bought used from mm. Should I try the CPU first as it might work without issues or try to straighten the pin.

I've done this before, straightened the pin using a pin & magnifying glass. Assuming you dont apply too much pressure, it should work! Was it advertised on the MM with potential socket issues?

No it wasn't. Should I not try it first before potentially bricking it by breaking the pin.

That looks as though its making contact with the neighboring pin so I wouldn't try it without rectifying that.

looked at it through an magnifying glass, it's definitely not touching.
