Mobo temp question

Sorry if these are beginner's questions.

On ASUS motherboards are fan speeds totally controlled by the mobo, or is that something I should be concerned with?

Also, on the config below I have 41C temperature on the CPU and 36C on the mobo. This is NOT overclocking and just running XP. Is this typical or is something wrong?

Asus A8R-MVP, AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800, Corsair 1GB DDR XMS3200C2PT TwinX (2x512MB), Sapphire ATI Radeon X1800 XT 256MB GDDR3, Enermax Liberty 500W, Arctic Cooling Freezer

That temperature is nothing to worry about really, my Asus K8V SE Deluxe sits at 30C all day long. Maybe if you were reaching 45C on the motherboard then I'd be a bit worried :)

Fan speeds?

Thanks, do you do anything to change the fan speeds? Is that even possible?
I don't seem to find a way to make PCProbe or AiBooster to do that.

When I boot I get a CPU fan error press F1 to continue. That's why I thought I might have a problem.

My Power is steady at 9xx RPM.
But the CPU fan varies between 8xx RPM and 11xx RPM.
