A modern Sandybridge i5/i7 uses socket 1155 with H61/H67/P67/Z68 chipset. The new highend Sandybridge-E i7 use socket 2011 with X79 Even the older i5/i7 use socket 1156/1366 with H55/P55/X58 etc.
