My situation is that, i have borrowed ram, cpu and motherboard from a friend for which has gone in to my new build. This is because i could not afford these parts.

the parts he has lent me are fairly old, so ill be upgrading them next month.

now, my problem.

currently running an win7 home premium x64 .iso

i need to buy an oem windows 7 disc because im getting sick of the restrictions when MS are complaining about my copy of windows is not genuine.

if i buy a win7 disc and install it, i then upgrade my mobo cpu and ram next month, do i then have to buy another copy of windows 7?

You won't need to buy another copy of Win7. You may need to reactivate it, but it'll be done automatically over the internet.

i hear oem is tied to one mobo, first and only install. and retail full version allows you to have 1 lic on one machine, allowing you to upgrade mobos without buying another oem version..

I was a able to move my dads win 7 oem from a dying MSI p35 to an asus p5kpl. Clean install on a new hdd too and reactivated itself fine. It was just the one reactivation over a long time period for the key however, which may make a diff. Perhaps if it's been reactivated many times it may be flagged on their side or somesuch, ymmv.
