Just wondering what are all the ones out there (well maybe not all of them if the list is huge) as it only seems its the high end boards that have this at the moment.
Any around the £100mark?

770, 780, 790 from AMD (I believe that the 740 series does not support PCI-E 2.0).

Edit: nVIDIA 750 or AMD 770 / 780 / 790X can be had for under £100, I think.

must ahve posted in a wrong thread as i thought i replied after the 1st reply

but i take it when a boards stakes that its 16X speed then its just PCI-E 2.0? or is there some other difference as well?

No, if the board states it is PCI-E 2.0 then it is PCI-E 2.0, if it does not, then it is not.

The bandwidth is increased from PCI-E 1.1 but that is meaningless here. There is no performance difference with a PCI-E 2.0 card @ 16X on a PCI-E 2.0 motherboard or a PCI-E 2.0 card @ 16X on a PCI-E 1.1 motherboard.
