So I passed mod 1 the other day, and am now due to take my mod 2 and the end of February.

A question I have for you guys is that there are two available time slots for my test. 8.15am and 9.15am.

Which do you think would be the better time to take? My instructor said it's swings and roundabouts. If I pick 8.15am there will be a lot more traffic due to rush hour (and the propensity for impatient drivers to ruin my day) but the tester will probably ride against the flow of traffic. Or I pick 9.15am and have to sit in the test center for an hour. Roads would be quieter by then but nerves may have gotten worse.

Any thoughts chaps?

Personally, I would opt for 8.15am. You won't really have time to get nervous, and it shows that you're not concerned about the traffic.

Congrats on the Mod 1 pass! As for the Mod 2, if you're going to be in the test centre at 8.15 anyway then go for 8.15. I found that sitting in the test centre was the worst bit!

Thanks for the responses. To be honest I'm thinking 8.15am too.

Had to be on the bike at 7am for the mod 1 to go and do a few practices in a car park before hand. I haven't seen that time of the day in a while. Saw the sun come up over the beach, was very enjoyable. Probably be a 7am start for the mod 2 also.

Looking forward to life on 2 wheels :)
