As the title suggests, is this possible? If it is possible, is it worth it? I'm going to fit my H100 tomorrow so the H50 will be lying around doing nothing, and I hear that the 4890 is pretty loud.

Lots of people have done this type of mod but you will need a copper shim and think about how your going to cool the vram as well, you can get stick on fins but need some airflow to cool them down.

Searching t'internet, I can't find examples of anyone who has used an Corsair Hydro (or similar enclosed system) modified to fit with an EK Water Block. Is this simply not possible or are there better solutions out there?

I'm thinking specifically about cooling an R9 290 (vram + gpu) on the "cheap".
