Modding ghetto blaster to aux

I have a decent ghetto blaster, with CD player & tape deck. It lacks aux input, how difficult would it be to add a 3.5mm line level input?

Depends how the wiring is setup on the inside. If it's a PCB then you might struggle.

Without knowing the layout and chips used internally hard to say - sometimes the topology will actually have unused inputs you can just solder onto internally with minimal modification especially if its part of a range of models with varying functions where some stuff is just not connected up - other times you will have to repurpose or add some circuitry, etc.
